The variety of cleansing products nowadays in the market are countless. Unfortunately, they incorporate a lot of chemicals that can harm your skin in the long run. Create your own cleanser at home by using things that exist already in your kitchen. Use raw honey as a cleanser since it is known for its antibacterial, healing, and hydrating properties. Massage raw honey on a damp face for a minute or two, place a hot wet wash cloth all over your face to allow the steam to open up the pores, then wipe gently to remove any excess cleanser. You can also use glycerin or charcoal soap for an amazing skin glow.

This step is mandatory to get rid of any dead cells and blackheads. Exfoliate once or twice a week for best results. Create a brightening face scrub at home by combining ¼ cup of honey, ½ tbsp of brown sugar, ¼ cup of milk, and ½ cup of cooked oatmeal. For a glow-boosting exfoliator, use ½ cup of ground coffee, ½ cup of yogurt or milk, 1 tbsp of honey. Apply either mixture on your face, gently rub it for a couple of minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

Toner is an important step in your daily skincare routine. It balances your skin after cleansing, removes dirt and excess makeup, and prepares your face for moisturizer. One of the best at-home toners is rose water. You can use it alone or diluted with water. Apple cider vinegar is also a great toner that has numerous benefits for the skin. However, if you have sensitive skin, you should dilute it with a 1:3 ratio of distilled water to avoid irritation. To use toner, apply it on a cotton ball all over your clean face.

There are many DIY masks you can do at home for various purposes. According to the problems your face has, create a suitable mask. For example, if you want to treat acne, egg whites mask will be excellent for you. Separate three egg whites from the yolk, place them in a bowl and mix. Dip a cotton ball into the mixture then apply it to your face. let the mask sit for 15 minutes then remove with a damp cloth. Apply a banana lemon mask to control the excess oil on your face. Mix one mashed banana with 10 drops of lemon juice and one tsp of olive oil. Apply the liquid paste and let it sit for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

The best natural moisturizers are face oils. Jojoba oil is a similar oil to that produced by our faces. That’s why it is an excellent moisturizer for all skin types. Add a few essential oils to the jojoba oil to increase the benefits and enjoy a heavenly scent. The best essential oils for skin are lavender, tea tree, rosemary, and rosehip. Try to apply this amazing routine 3 months prior to your wedding to notice the awesome results and enjoy smooth, nourished, and healthy skin on your big day.

Lip Balm

Finalize your routine by applying a homemade lip balm to make your lips look and feel smooth. Mix 1 tablespoon of beeswax with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (you may want to put them in the microwave for 30 seconds or use a double boiler to dissolve the products). If you want to add color, you can add a drop of your favorite food color to the mixture. You can also add beautiful scents using your favorite essential oils, such as rose petals, lavender, or peppermint. Empty the mixture into a small plastic container and leave it to dry.
