Jennifer Gates Ties the Knot with Egyptian Equestrian Nayel Nassar in a Fairy-tale Wedding
The American billionaire, Bill Gates, celebrated the wedding of his daughter, Jennifer, to the Egyptian show jumper, Nayel Nassar, on Saturday, October 16th, at Jennifer's luxurious Evergate Stables in Westchester County, New York.
This is their second wedding as they got married last Friday in an Islamic ceremony because the groom and his family are Muslims. The wedding of Jennifer Gates and Nayel Nassar took place at Jennifer's horse ranch, Evergate Stables, in New York City, and the couple was satisfied with having a small list of 300 guests that was limited to family and close friends.
The extravagant outdoor wedding took place in Westchester County, New York, on a 124-acre horse farm in North Salem. A few days before the wedding, workers were seen setting up massive platforms and glass tents. The estate, known as Evergate Stables, was acquired through a trust for Jennifer Gates for $15,825,000 in 2018. The couple enjoyed a 6-tier floral cake for their fairy-tale wedding that cost $2 million.
The 25-year-old bride wore a custom light ivory Vera Wang dress with long sleeves embellished with hand appliqué French macrame lace throughout. The Italian tulle chapel-length veil was also trimmed in hand appliqué French macrame lace. For the reception, she changed into another custom gown by Vera Wang in light ivory and a square neckline. Nassar wore a classic black tuxedo and a black bowtie.
30-year-old Nayel Nassar is an Egyptian professional horse rider who recently competed in the Tokyo Olympics, while Jennifer, the daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, is currently studying medicine. The Stanford graduates, Jennifer and Nayel, met through equestrian sports and began dating in 2017. The couple announced their engagement last year.
The couple planned their fairytale wedding along with Marcy Blum Events and expressed the difficulties that faced them while planning. Jennifer was in medical school rotations while Nayel was preparing for the Olympics. However, it was all worth it to share this joyous event with close friends and family.
